GAIL ALLYN LANDAU, ESQ. is an attorney, mediator, and consultant specializing in public relations and media communications, employer/employee relations, partnership disputes, intra family and elder financial abuse, healthcare and caregiver disputes, and advocacy for special interest groups and organizations including non-profits and charities.
Ms. Landau is a nationally recognized public speaker in the areas of attorney/client relations and professionalism, physician office practices and risk avoidance, witness preparation and litigation support, benefits of mediation v. litigation, claims resolution, and elder advocacy in the areas of caregiver abuse, financial scams, fraud, and undue influence.
Gail received her BA from Loyola University of Chicago and her Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law where she also served as a trial advocacy instructor. Gail devoted decades to her practice as a litigator at the law firm she founded Landau, Omahana & Kopka, LLC., heading the Professional Negligence Division. She later completed the Pepperdine University School of Law/Strauss Institute’s “Mediating the Litigated Case” mediation training program for attorneys and judges. She now provides conflict resolution and ombuds services through her firm Gila Mediation & Consulting.
